EA said they get it fixed within 3-5 business days Which they did BUT the bank Blocked his Debit Card & ordered new one because of the hacking. After I got the money from the bank in cash ... sorry this is long I POed & Venting. This has been hell week turning into hell month!

Vent away honey! It's been that kind of year for us all. First tell you son to get a PayPal account to use with Origin. It's much safer and that's what I use as I don't trust EA. Tell him not to use the same password or email for Origin and Paypal or that kind of defeats the purpose. Enable 2 step verification of Paypal and on Origin. That way no one can hack your account and even if they did they couldn't buy anything without being inside his brain.

Also I'm not sure why the Reps told you what they did but as you can see in the pic I have no card attached. I did order the phone as a gift so you may want to do that if you get it. It will come deregister then once you get it you register it and the Prime is added to your account as you can see I order mine didn't start till I register the phone on the 10th. It's not like when you sign up for Prime or sign up for a trial it works differently. It doesn't even auto renew like the trial or Regular Prime. It didn't ask me anything they just started Prime as soon as I registered the phone.

Wonder why they told me different? Tell you something else. They Extended my Free Prime on the 11th buy using the Cr Card and taking $104 out of the account! When I called about that they told me it was my Free yr for buying the phone! I said IF its Free why take the money? Does this mean they wont be charging me the $200 when the phone is actually shipped? "No you still need to pay for the phone" I told the rep then what Happened to the Prime being Free? "We refund that when you get the phone & activate it" So to me they saying I Needed $300+ tax got get the Phone + the Prime with them Refunding the Cost of the Prime Later! Any way I told her to Refund the Money Now... Forget the Free Prime til I activate the phone. She did but That messed the account up again! The refund didn't post til After they tried to get All the money for the phone 3 tries they Make you get alternate payment... The Prime messed it up was strike 3! The 1st & 2nd was from EA. BTW Kevin is Only using Gift cards from now on, on EA! And for his troubles [not as bad as mine] He got FREE Sims 4.. so he in 7th heaven!

What they are saying makes no sense. They never charge me one cent till the phone shipped and that was the cost of the phone + tax and shipping. It sounds like to me that you had a trial going then it charge you a full year when you got the phone that would have tacked another year onto it but seeing you got a refund I can see where this might get sticky. I'd wait till you have no Prime at all then get the phone and activate it. It will go on sale again just have the money in gift cards ready and remember to order as a gift.

There are some really clueless repts now working on Amazon who are just temp because of the holidays. I got one yesterday.

Sims 4 is okay. I have it and have done a couple creations for it but Sims 2 is the best and what I mainly create for. I'm currently retexturing a hair as I type.

Yes its according to 2 of the reps... staying at the $229. You can see that cause there are No Sale banners on it! But they dropping the price to $200 around the 1st of the yr ...depending on whats in stock ... So I figure I have another shot. I use your trick.. gift it. Yea I had 30 days of free Prime that was to run out on the 12th. I had the card set Not to renew tho. No Clue Why or How they over rode that!

ME I hate Sims a neighbor gave me the 1st Sims. All I managed to do was chase them around cleaning up after them & burning the house down After a week I tossed it in the trash! Kevin came over & dug it out.. Been Hooked ever since. I slowly got him all of Sims2 & been working on buying Sims3 which he insisted instead of buying them as boxed games to get them as Downloads. And so the TROUBLE began! Then the other day he asked if he could get 2 of the 3 expansion packs they dropped to $6 each I said yes but only the 2 since I was still waiting on the phone. Instead of removing the card when he was done he left it on planning on taking it off the next day. Well to late the Hackers Attacked! They got him for $100 in games & coins I get that money back & then find out Amazon Prime took $104.94 Amazon Prime got theirs 1st the EA took the rest! I only found out about the Prime from the Bank Print out. EA at least sent Kevin A Thank You for the orders! Or I would have had no clue.

Not a fan of Sims 3 at all. It just had too many problems with it. I had Sims 1 and loved it many years but Sims 2 is the best one. EA just gave away in July the entire game for free. I already had it in disc and now I have the download. I finished my hair now to put it up on my blog.

Amazon has remove the ability not to set to renew so that's what happened. I went to do this for my Husband's Prime runs out 23th of December and the options is no longer there. It was there last month. So now I have to on the 20th go in and cancel it so he does not get charge because I have Prime now on my account so I don't need his anymore.

Speaking of banks. I have used Paypal for 15 years and I pay for Netflix that way. Well imagine my surprise when this month PayPal took the money out of the bank account even though I had money in the PayPal. In the 15 years of having this account that has never happened before! They always take money out of the Paypal Balance then remainder if needed from the bank. It made us overdrawn by $3 dollars. Luckily hubby's check showed up the next day or we would had to pay a overdraft fee. We are never overdrawn. So tis the season I guess for things like that.

Sure has been a bad Season for me! I don't do Christmas But Love to hit Sales! I missed the $115 TV at Walmart .. Now the phone. Tho I did get a Nice Case Empty of course as No Phone On top of that I had to ordered a Case for the T-Mobile phone I Do have that cost me $10 + Shipping The end of the yr Safelink get cut! so I be carrying the T-Mobile.

I am thinking of cutting the screen protector out, and applying my own, and still using the case. I think it will work ok.

I checked my 2 Fire HD Poetic Revolution cases, and they have big rainbows, too. So I guess it is typical of this case. I don't think my girls will care, but I would.

I don't have a rainbow problem on either of my Revolution cases (HD6 & Fire Phone). The one ongoing problem I do have is the charging port cover on the HD6 - it still sticks out a bit. I don't have that problem on the phone case.

Outside of that one problem, I really like these cases. Wish they made one for the LG Volt.

I do love the cases. In some lights, I can't see the rainbow. In others, it's horrendous. I'll wait a few days before I do the surgery in case I change my mind.

Katie, when I bought the phone, the Prime membership was added as a gift to my account. The phone was not a gift, it came preregistered to me. So maybe that was the difference? I am not sure if there was a choice or if that was done automatically.

I asked a question on Amazon and found a few have the same issue. I ordered a 3 pak from Mr Shields as I plan to do that same thing after looking through all the cases and seeing none I'd though protected well. I did contact Poetic giving them a chance to make it right as well so I will wait and see what they do but I will probably remove the screen protector.

If you check the gift box before adding it to cart it wont come preregistered. I did this because I wasn't sure if I was going to give hubby Prime or put it on my account.

Update on my phone. Battery life is excellent! Once I stopped installing a gazillion apps and leave the phone alone to act like well a phone I charged it yesterday and used it as phone and played some music, surf the web, used some apps. Today when I got up it was at 43% So I slept in today and when I got up 8 hours later it was at 42% after making a phone call it's at 39% This is amazing! if you only knew how many apps I put on this thing. About 20 so far. My old phone would be about this but I left it in standby 85% of the time.

I love this phone! I love that I get shipping notification from Amazon and can track my order right from the phone. I love how easy it is to answer a call and hang up. Something my old phone gave me fits with. I love I can actually enter numbers while on a call my old phones kept blanking out on some numbers forcing me to change my passcode in voicemail. I wasn't expecting the phone part to work so well but it does. Texting is great and easy. I do miss my emotes the one on this phone are not standard that is a big downfall for me but other than that I am quite happy.

Return the cases for refund! Don't destroy them.
