For anyone that is considering the Lori Wilde Kindle Daily Deal (Jubilee, TX books 1-3 for $1.99 each). I just stumbled across the box set of the same 3 books for $4.74, definitely the better deal if you're in the market for all 3 and it will probably still be this price tomorrow.

I have to take at least part of tomorrow off to go get my mom a new cell phone and set it up. I finally broke down a few years ago and just added both of my parents to my plan as it makes it easier to keep track Unlike my dad (who uses email on his laptop but doesn't know how to take a picture with his phone to save his life and goes six months before he figures out he has a text) my mother refuses to use a computer but I got her smart phone last time around so she wants another. She likes her slot machine app, her garage sale app, and the PGA app I also set her up with Dropbox so her pictures automatically load to my PC. I'm getting her a Samsung Galaxy S III mini. I am hoping the transition will go smoothly, but leaving the afternoon open just in case.

Sadly, I think book 3 is the high point of the series IIRC. I loved one of the secondary couples (forget which book) and the main couple in book 7

Cindy Gerard's Black Ops Inc series. It's sort of a spin-off from her Bodyguards books, but the only one you'd really need to read is the last book.

I've got a few other series in my TBR that might fit the bill, but I haven't read them so can't say for sure.

Have it, love it, bought two more.

Have some similar to the Poetic posted, didn't like and don't use.

So, like everything else, opinions vary.

No, setting up her phone took me longer than I'd planned, mostly because I didn't get home until much later than I'd planned. I've got some running around to do tomorrow, but will hopefully get it finished (I'm up to mid-2013).

I got them during the contest period last month . The first book is free! I've read good reviews about the series all along, and I'm glad it's finally on Kobo.

Today's free (4/9-4/10) ARe series showcase title is At Her Service by Cerise Deland, book one in the Swords of Passion series.
Quote:
Book one in the Swords of Passion Series

The one man Elise Dumond has always craved is the one man she should not have in her bed - or in her heart.

Elise Dumond has always done her duty to her aging husband. But when the lovely Countess learns her dying spouse has paid a bounty to her childhood friend to father a child with her, Elise trembles at the prospect of being possessed by the famous knight who is now a legendary lover.

Simon de la Poer is determined to claim Elise in all the imaginative ways he has yearned for these past ten years. As he teaches her the joys of exotic pleasure, she revels in their passion. Their rekindled love burns fast and bright, inciting their enemies to try to tear them apart with lies—and murder.

I can remember a few series that are similar.

I suppose you already know KGI series from Maya Banks, it is also about a group that works in special ops.

SEAL of Honor in the first book from Hornet series by Tonya Burrows, I liked it a lot, after that I read her other series Wilde Security but didn’t like it so much, it’s also romantic suspense but not so heavy on the action.

Elaine Levine has the Read Team series, the 4th is coming soon and I’m waiting for it, the books grabbed me, they are full of action, and kept me on the edge to see what was coming.

Alison Kent has the Smithson Group (SG5) series, I have read some a few years ago and liked it, I think the first one didn’t grabbed me but the ones after did.

StephanieTyler has Shadow Force and Hold I liked them both and in both they are military men.

Added them all to a big list. I like action sometimes you know. It keeps me reading and doesn't take alot of focus. I call them fast paced romances.

I am reading book four so far no action but it's okay I like Wildcard. I just want to books with team action. I really like those stories. I think that's what made #3 so awesome.

I'm going to be pretty busy for the next two months. It looks like we are moving! So far it looks like it may be to Raleigh, NC I've got to downsize alot of my junk. No not my books never that!

So anyone familiar with that area? I've never been there even though I lived in Wilimington for awhile and visited Fayetteville where the in laws are.

I love Cherry Adair's T-FLAC series.

Ugh, I hate moving. I hope never to move again. Is your husband getting a job in NC? What about his school?

Cherry Adair! One of my favorite Facebook authors. I have most of the start of that series in paperback. I will have to look into it.

I hate moving too but this place is falling apart. The plumbing is full of slime. We don't cook or drink the water. I hate showering in it and the fridge leaks and two of the burners on the stove don't work and alot of other things they don't fix around here. We had to fix our own stuff and now nothing is keeping us here. While I love our landlord and he has been so nice and understanding most of the time. I know it's time to go somewhere more healthy and a bigger city where there is more jobs and more opportunities for someone with a Bachelors degree.

The parents wanted us to move to Fayetteville but it's so overcrowded and most jobs are taken by families of the military. Not to mention it's a dirty smelly town and full of crime despite Fort Bragg and Pope AFB being there. Raleigh is only an hour from them so it's the next best thing. Far enough away that I can keep my sanity but close enough that hubby can spent time with them.

Hubby graduated in January from College. He has a Bachelor of Science.

Congrats to your husband

I moved 22 times before I was 21, but only 3 times since. This last time I did have to get rid of over half my books It's why I don't feel so guilty rebuying some of them in digital. But I went from an entire wall of bookshelves to only 1-1/2 cases. It was liberating in some ways, but...

Exciting and nerve-wracking, hopefully onward and upward but a lot of work to get there.:*hugs to you*
We've talked about this book before, I loved it, it's free right now. Tall, Tatted and Tempting by Tammy Falkner

You might want to look in the Charlotte area. Not necessarily IN Charlotte, but around Charlotte. There seems to be lots of jobs here. Not sure what your hubby wants to go into.
