I don't usually get the boxed sets because I find them rather overwhelming. However, I took a look at this one and it includes a story by Vivian Arend that is in her Takhini Wolves universe. I don't think it's been published anywhere else. I'm assuming it's a new short story or novella. At least 3 or 4 of the others look good also.

I just finished Over The Edge. It's funny that how I feel right now after the horrible day I had. I have to say I loved this story. 5 stars! There is so much going on but the action in this book is what kept me on the edge of my seat. Will I read book four? You betcha! The first two were so different. This one felt like a suspense novel and I hope they stay that way.

I don't remember if it was Over the Edge or Out of Control, but one of those was the first book I read in this series - picked them both up at a used bookstore and didn't realize they were part of a series.

I also loved them. Then went back and bought the first ones - and at the time, I was so glad I'd read them out of order, because I probably wouldn't have gone any further on the basis of the first one.

I burned out on the series after Gone Too Far, although I know I borrowed one or two after that one from the library.

I'm getting mine from the library but I agree if it hadn't been for people here telling me it gets better I would have never read #3.

Is there any other series out there that deal with a group of military men like this? I love the group dynamics of book 3 and the war plot storyline. I wonder if anyone else has written anything similar?
