As may be. I'm spending more money than I did on this to help host a meeting of scientific experts on a nasty ornamental plant disease. Pro Bono Publico...

One day in December, maybe I'll get a surprise present from the EARL team, but for now, I'm not bothering to keep abreast of new developments. |

4.7" screen? Yes!
A pocket-sized Earl really has my attention now. I like this size better than the 6". |

Anyway, dump the directories and then you have a Kobo Go HD or a Kobo Aura H2O. Very nice screen, front light is very even, the current firmware works pretty well. |

![]() In the same way that literally translating Hot Dog does not get you a sausage in a bun or television gets you longsighted. OK, historically one of the meanings of Liseuses was reading lamp. Last edited by MikeB1972; 04-10-2015 at 06:55 AM. Reason: like, history, man |

Oh you're right, google translate does say that Liseuse means reading light, which is an unfortunate choice. All in all, it's not an exclusive definition, and liseuse is perfectly appropriate to mean "e-reader" if this word references french. It could be used for many reading accessories (signet, lamp, table, cover, nightclothes), most of which are old fashioned and have other more generic words anyway. Liseuse is the generic word of ereader.
