Dreams: Go to the hardware store and get a replacement plug. Cut off the plug end and re-wire according to the directions on the package or on the internet if no instructions. Google replacement electrical plug. DO NOT: try to "fix" a defective plug!

Thanks, pshrynk. I figure I'll have to do that. I looked at it again, and decided that it might just pull out again if I try to put it back in. So, I'll be putting a new plug on (with my dad's help ).

This year has been too expensive already with flooding, roof and gutter leak (and repair), wet drywall take down, and my eye accident. I think, I'll just be extra careful with this new repair project.

@Bilbo and Am Thank you both. It's just that I hate when things don't work and want to get them fixed right away. I hate waiting.

From an issue of Boy's Life I learned while still in my teens how to do the old magic trick of cutting a rope in half, tying a knot in the middle, waving my hand over it, and making the rope whole again. I don't claim what follows is the best instance of using that old trick, (that nod goes no doubt to Penn and Teller who did it with a live snake on SNL), but when I was an apprentice, I asked my supervisor and his boss one day if there was a bit of electrical cord laying around. Before they could answer, I said, "Never mind, I'll use a piece of this," and grabbed up the cord to a fan that was plugged in and running. Before they could stop me, to their horror I cut the cord in two while it was still energized. When they evinced their shock and disapproval, I said, "Okay, I'll find another piece to use," and presto! with a wave of my hand over the cord it was once again whole.

I've always wondered why I never got further up the ladder at work.

Thanks for asking! It still hurts (not sure why), but it looks great! I never thought it would look normal, I'm glad I went & got the stitches instead of just throwing a bandage on it! This afternoon I go for an eye test, having decided to get glasses. I'll get some normal and sunglasses in prescription. The normal glasses'll look like this
