I'm trying to find an old plug to cut open to see how it connects to the wires in the cord.

I tried to unplug my timer from the pond pump cord and one of the little metal prongs was stuck in the timer. When I pulled at it, one of the metal prongs stayed in the timer plug.

So now I'm trying to figure out how to fix it so I don't short out the pump.

Geesh, guys.. I'm still recovering from the accident to my eyes, so I definitely made sure there was no current in the cord. Thanks for your concern.

My recent unexpected hospital visit caused me to rethink about me being the one to fix it. I'm going to have my dad take a look at it this weekend, as he has years of experience. I just hate the fact that I don't know how to do it myself.
