Sunny, dry and cooler here on Thursday. High was about 76, I think. 62 now at 2:15 AM.

It's a misty morning, currently (8 am) it's 15℃. When the mist is gone it should get sunny and 23℃. It looks like next week is going to be hot, again. Several days of 29℃, but right now the prediction is that we won't get an official heat wave (5 days of 25℃+ temps, of which 2 days are over 30℃).

After a few glorious low-humidity 70 something sunny days, it was very hot on Sunday, at least 86 (didn't check after I went out in the afternoon) and I've had to have the AC on tonight. Forecast for Monday is 90 and then high 80s for a few more days after that.

Yesterday we had temperatures of just over 30℃ and today we already reached 31.4℃, so we at least will have an unofficial heatwave. The current prediction is that it'll be between 29 and 31℃ until at least Monday, so we might even get an official heatwave. I'm glad I got this week off and I don't have to move heavy boxes and furniture around in this heat.

At least at night it cools down to below 20℃ and humidity is low from Dutch standards (below 50%). I am looking forward to the more normal temperature of 20℃ from next Wednesday.

Our heat index was 106 yesterday when it was real temp 93. Lord knows what it will look like today.

Thursday was the 4th day of heat wave here in NYC (reaching 90 or higher at some point in the day). We expect high 80s Friday and storm(s).
