Yesterday the rain didn't come until 9pm. And even though it wasn't an exceptionally humid day it was very muggy. We stopped work early because of it and decided to go on for a little bit longer today.

But today it's even more humid than yesterday, so we'll have to wait and see what happens today.

It doesn't look like the sun will come out today. It'll be 23℃ and in the afternoon there's a chance of rain and thunderstorms.

I had to take the furbabies to the vet this morning for vaccines and checkups and was MONUMENTALLY grateful that it was only 75 and very cloudy. It was 80 by the time we got home at 920.

We had great sunny, dry, low humidity weather (and breezy) on Tuesday and Wednesday, 8/22 and 8/23. My birthday was Tuesday.

It was rainy on Thursday and rainy Friday morning. Very humid on Friday. I hope it is nicer on Saturday!

Yesterday was humid, over 90% all day and we had some rain mid afternoon. In the evening there was another yellow weather warning for thunderstorms and hail for our province, but that never happened.

Right now at 8 am it's 14℃, which goes up to 21℃ this afternoon. There's a chance of some rain, but between the possible showers it's sunny. I'm waiting for a delivery, but when that's happened I'm going to run some errands, I'll probably take a detour since the weather is so nice and make it into a nice walk.

It was sunny in the low 80s during the afternoon. I just looked at the forecast for the next few days and if it's correct, there are no more sunny days in August. Cloudy tomorrow, rain Tuesday and Wednesday. First day of September sunny.

Currently (8.15 am) it's 15℃, today's maximum temperature will be 21℃. There's a chance of rain in the afternoon, but it might also stay dry. In the evening it'll clear up and it'll cool down to 12℃.

It started raining just before 8 am (currently 8.20 am) and the prediction is that it won't stop until 2 pm, after which there will be scattered showers. Maximum temperature will be 17/18℃.

Only in the South:

So, TS Idalia stayed on the coast, so minimal damage/impact in central NC -- but I woke up to temps in the low 60's F = 20 cooler than any day in August, and no humidity -> gorgeous

Took a walk immediately with a wee shiver (it is breezy) and encountered a neighbor walking her dog - wearing a puffer jacket and jeans. I am in shorts & a cotton T-shirt.

Reminds me of watching the PNE parade one year with some relatives up from Phoenix. The Vancouver contingent was wearing t-shirts & shorts while the Phoenix contingent were wearing long pants and sweaters. To us, 25° was a warm day while to them, it was a cool day for mid-August.

No rain predicted till Sunday but the cooler weather is helping the firefighters.
