Yikes. Meanwhile up here in good ole Canada, on the weekend it's expected to go down to -50 C. Today it was down to -30, *without* the windchill. Aaaaah!

It just left the area - judging by the lake in my front yard, you should get less than predicted.

Actually, we got about 5 inches of new snow. But this time around it was wet, dense snow -- what we call "heart attack snow." It's like shoveling wet concrete.

We should be in the deep freeze by tomorrow, so that wet snow will solidify into thick, white ice.

Fun times!
