It is very, very light, the buttons are perfect for me (I read holding the reader either right or left-handed, without any preference, and now the buttons are perfect for me with the 5-key one being centered), and of course the new dimensions make it perfect to take around, or put in a ziploc for the pool- or beach-reading. |

![]() Their fortunes for to try, And these three men made a solemn vow: John Barleycorn must die. They've ploughed, they've sewn, they've harrowed him in, Threw clods upon his head, And these three men made a solemn vow: John Barleycorn was dead. They've let him lie for a very long time, ‘Till the rains from heaven did fall, And little Sir John sprung up his head, And so amazed them all. They've let him stand ‘till midsummer's day, ‘Till he looked both pale and wan, And little Sir John's grown a long, long beard, And so become a man... ![]() (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pU_YQ...eature=related ) "The huntsman he can't hunt the fox nor so loudly to blow his horn And the tinker he can't mend kettle or pots without a little barleycorn" I guess alcohol has been around a while... I wonder why in some places it's accepted and other not? Anyway, good morning, all! Fridays are always happy days, and today is no different. Sun is shinning, 22 degrees outside, and I'm footloose and fancy free! Steam is rising from my mug of East India Company's "Royal Breakfast" tea, and I'm eating the last of the fried polenta left over from dinner the other night. I don't think I will eat left over polenta again... It just doesn't cut it as a breakfast food. It really needs a big dollop of spicy salsa... Say... why didn't I put some on? I have it in the fridge... Oops! Too late! Quote:

This afternoon, a pot of Lapsang Souchong. Probably my favourite for an afternoon cuppa when I'm working hard.
This evening, a bit of Oban, single malt. Sigh. Now THAT's what it's all about. |

Congrats! Grad School can be fun... once your brain stops spinning. When I went, we were required to maintain ' "B" or better' to stay in the program. Is it the same in your school?

Not bad white tea.
Pleasant. Twinings has Finest Loose Teas range. I was not aware of it as I didn't see it in a wild until I stumbled upon this white tea in TK Maxx half a year ago. It (the range) might be worth to investigate one day. Quote:

Is it your invention? Cuppa #2 (mug) Yorkshire Gold 2 heaped tsps, 3min. Better than 2 heaped tsps/5min mug/cup. Last edited by astra; 10-07-2011 at 04:10 AM. |

Interesting. Is it your invention?[quote] No... It's an often used technique in Chinese cooking... Probably most well known for "Tea Smoked Eggs." Although the recipe never specifically calls for Lapsang Souchong, I just prefer that 'extra' smokiness, and use the technique when I want to smoke other things quickly but not deeply. It really only affects the outside surfaces. Quote:
