It's OK. Bitter...I am not sure I taste any flavour at all. I just get an incredibly strong black tea. Prolly something that could resuscitate a dead man. The same as Yorkshire Gold yesterday. I woke up at 05.45 today and decided on not pretending that I sleep until 06.20. Took a cold shower and tried a new tea. NBTea got a new Assam in stock and I gave it a try. Assam SFTGFOP1 Mangalam. Last year, I tried Assam BPS CL Mangalam from Tea House Emporium. It was a very strong tea but its lack of flavour was a disappointment. It was a good one as the first cuppa in the office to wake up but not to savour the flavour. It looked like small granules/pellets? Assam SFTGFOP1 Mangalam is different. It consists of tea leaves and tastes good. It has a flavour as the proper Assam should. I would rate it 7/10 in comparison to Fortnum and Mason's 9-10/10. ![]() |

It's a wonderful way to become more involved with your surroundings... aware of everything... possibly all night long too.... But often this works with teas. I found that several of my black teas taste better to me when made with cooler water... about 92-95 degrees rather than full on boil... despite what the tea importer recommended for that particular tea. For other teas, it didn't work at all. ![]() Stitchawl |

Coke Zero #3. Happy to be back home, after a couple of days going over plans with builder, plumber and electrician.

^Single-handedly keeping Coke Zero in production.
Coffee this morning. I'm thinking of heading out later today to buy some loose tea as well as stop at the library. I've run out of non-classic public domain books to read in my to be read pile. Is that possible? |

My friends and I are having a debate tomorrow at academy. So nervous!!
Some cold milk to calm down, and get back to trimming the final details of our speech. |

![]() Roiboos, Roiboos everywhere. So unfair .... Superman left me yesterday to take care of the clients, and left ME taking care of the building finitions. I am in a foul mood, so the workers now just hide as soon as I arrive.... S won't be back before next wed at the soonest, so this is going to be a bad, bad week, because although I don't know Jack about building, I know what I want in the end, and I have the feeling that by now, end of first day, the foreman would love to have S back (although he makes him mad too, but I think I am worse). Plus I know words in Spanish S does not even know exist, and I used each an every one of them today. I'd make the sailors of the harbors proud. VIVE MOI ! Water and ![]() ![]() |
