If anyone is game enough to try this $10/$5 promo then I'd be interested to hear if you get the $10 eight days after the new member buys the ebook. Or indeed, if the person you introduce gets the $5 and how long it takes their new account to get that money.

(Why do I think that participating in a promo like this is a gamble!!)

I've tested the $5 end and that part definitely works (if you add a book valued at $5.01+). However, it did not get me the $10.
This is from a month or two ago though. Not sure if they've fixed it.

So this Refer a friend for $10/$5 promo is stuffed?

Photo 1 is the opening screen, which I complete and then click on 'Invite Friends'.

Photo 2 is the screen that shows nothing happens except the screen contracts.

I tried this yesterday as well, and yep, the same lack of result.

So it's the usual question: why have a promo if you can't engage with it!

I failed at this several times, using different friends and browsers. The $5 works, but the $5 works on all new accounts without being referred. I haven't received the $10 credit and I can't be bothered to fight about it.

Although, I wonder if it is waiting for my friend to make a purshase after using the $5 credit they received.
