No amount of zooming in or out or resolution adjustment was able to fix the overlapping.

In Windows 7 go to control panel, select display, and set custom dpi. I have a 23 inch wide screen monitor. In IE if I use zoom I lose columns as well. It seems like Kobo is coding their website to remove the ability to use accessibility settings. When I use accessibility settings I do it so I can see things. A website shouldn't remove things from a screen when accessibility settings are used. Here's a screenshot showing all columns on my tablet when I remove my dpi setting - all columns are showing.

Odd, I just checked (Windows 10 x64, Chrome x64 50.0.2661, 1600x900) and the screen looks fine. I'm still a bit puzzled as to how Patricia Wrede is the first author when sorting by author (A-Z).

Does your screen look the same with other browsers? For me, Firefox/Nightly, Vivaldi, Chrome, IE and Edge all look good.

Now to wait for the status and date added columns to return and the ability to set the number of items per screen larger than 24. 50 would be nice.

And perhaps for the "Send us your thoughts" link to point to something other than the current library page I'm viewing. <not so gentle hint!>

Correct, the resolution has no real relationship to the DPI setting that Windows uses. But, as I have not changed from the default, I am running with the DPI at 100%. When I changed the DPI settings, there are no changes to the columns I see in Firefox, Chrome, Echo or IE.

It seems like Kobo is coding their website to remove the ability to use accessibility settings. When I use accessibility settings I do it so I can see things. A website shouldn't remove things from a screen when accessibility settings are used.

Your screen shot is missing something mine has. This is a banner above the list welcoming me to the new library. You can see this in the attached screenshot called "KoboLibrary-JavascriptEnabled.jpg". And it disappears in screenshot "KoboLibrary-JavascriptDisabled.jpg". And those file names explain what is going on.

It looks like the real difference is whether JavaScript is enabled or not. When I disabled it in Chrome (Firefox no longer has a global option to disable JavaScript), the banner disappeared and the columns changed as I changed the size of the browser window. The status and date added columns where displayed when the window was large enough. When I reenabled JavaScript in Chrome, the behaviour was the same as I was seeing in Firefox: the banner was displayed and the two columns were not displayed. But, they are displayed briefly when the page is first loaded. The same happened with IE11.

So the difference is that I am allowing JavaScript for all sites in Firefox, and you have JavaScript blocked in your browser. With what BrodieKobo said, that makes sense. Adding something in the JavaScript to hide these columns would be a lot cheaper change to make then the overall changes not to get the data and send it in the page. Especially when they will want to redisplay those column when they fix the sorting and other issues.

For me, this pops up a window as part of the page. I haven't submitted anything yet, so I don't know if it works beyond that.

Do you have anything that might be blocking the stylesheet or other parts of the page? At first I thought it might be JavaScript, but my experiments reported in my last reply to Purple Lady, suggest it isn't. I can't see any options in Chrome that affect the styles, so it might be an addon of some sort.

This was on my tablet and I don't see a way to do anything with Javascript. I didn't mean that Kobo was intentionally messing up accessibility settings, but whatever they did impacts them. Unfortunately most companies don't even check out what happens when dpi is used for accessibility. The company I used to work for had to make a lot of changes for me because they ignored that stuff. Others had complained as well, but since they only preferred the changes they were ignored. I required the changes to use it so they were forced to fix it.

I looked at Kobo’s site on the PC last night and the columns were popping up and disappearing for me as well.

The site is designed to fit your screen size and remove whatever doesn't fit. This seems to be done on more and more sites lately. I am forced to browse on my tablet in landscape when I prefer portrait or else most of the content disappears. I only get three columns in portrait with or without the dpi setting removed on my tablet. On my phone I only get three columns in landscape and only the book cover in portrait, so the library is not usable at all on small devices if you need to see one of the columns that doesn't appear. That's what happens when sites are coded this way.

Below's a screen shot of my 'My Library' 14inch screen. It's got all the columns and sometimes when I enter the screen I have to do a shift + - in order to reduce the size to see all the fields, and sometimes I don't.

By the way, it's in 'alpha' order, well that's what it's supposed to be in!!

Just did more checking. It is broken for Firefox 46 and Nightly 49 on Windows 10 x64. Works for other browsers on Win10. No issues on my iPad or Google Nexus tablet. Looking at some log information, it appears I may have to play with the config settings to get the redirection to work.

Using Chrome under Windows, once you've opened settings, it's under the advanced settings => privacy => content settings (or chrome://settings/content in the address box). Or just type javascript in the search box once you've opened settings. Under Android, settings => site settings, Javascript allowed/disallowed. Under iOS, there seems to be no setting to disable Javascript.

Using Firefox, enter about:config in the address bar, search on javascript and toggle the javascript:enabled setting for Windows and Android.

How do you get all this on a 14 inch screen? Is it a size 2 font or smaller? That's smaller than when I would tell the eye doctor that I see an asterisk when he asks what the letter is.

Thanks. I just disabled Javascript on my tablet using Chrome but it didn't change anything. I also tried requesting desktop site but that didn't make any difference.

My screen is a good sized font to read, maybe 11, and then I shift minus once and the date purchased shows.
