Which version did you have previously installed? Was it a trial or a full version?

It installed right along side the full version for me (I just deactivate the full version). It even picked up the settings from the last trial I had, though it is uninstalled.

I really like being able to preview the settings behind the compact window. Everything seemed very intuitive for me, but I always thought it was set up pretty well.

I bet that's when you have a previous Appstore trial version and you try to install this one. Right? I think Amazon may mess with the signing keys.

Actually if I'm not mistaking this, the sequence of events for me was

1. Dl and install Apo from a forum linked file by pruss
2. Launch and use once then
3. 2nd launch get prompted by fire that a duplicate, fire-friendly version was in the amazon store did I want to replace with that one (I said yes)
4. 3day trial expiration likely took place
5. Dl newest 10-day trial Apo file from forum
6. Insert the "application not installed " error comment I made earlier where delete previous install was required.

Nb. I did install successfully the latest Apo, am on day 2 with no issues/hassles from Amzn re whose version I'm running

Every instance of Apo should have been Apk

I LOVE the compact view -- thanks so much for this! I also want to thank the developer for enabling me to extinguish the ridiculously bright backlights on my phone.

In response to the post above, I had no problem whatsoever installing the trial version with the full version already in use. I deactivated the full version prior to installing the trial and they reside independent of one another. Although I discovered both versions can be active, I am currently using only the trial.

I got the upgrade from the Market this morning. I Absolutely love compact mode!

It works great so far. Makes it much easier to see what setting works best in the app you are in.

Thanks for the reports. I submitted it to the Appstore. In a couple of days, it should upgrade, unless I screwed up in some way.

The Android app model is generally that upgrades are free, and this is no exception.
