I agree. If it is more convenient and easier on you and doesn't really effect any of her plans then there is no reason you should avoid going when you can, and in order to get the most out of it for everyone.

thanks Am and everyone! I finally tracked my son down, I feel much better now!

they think they are moving him into the hospice facility this Sunday. whether or not he stabilizes from there will determine if he goes into assisted living, an apartment with my Mom... who knows. many many variables at this point

I think I vented here once about my son. WalMart giving him the wrong med and because he didn't get what he needed, he suffered some neurological damage.
Not the same, but similar to sensory overeload. Too much sound, visual stimulation, hearing causes pain, continued causes vomiting and severe migraines.

Psychiatrist, neurologist both state it could be from not getting the medication he needed. The three days without was a shock to his brain, he has been on it for at least 10 years, his brain depends on it. He had a severe withdrawal and became suicidal.

Can't stand to be around of actions, go to stores, can't drive a car anymore. Can't read a book for long, vision, ability to focus, the see words clearly, can't play computer or video games or watch tv for more than an hour, and most could be thee hours a day. Some days are worse, some better.
Can't prove it, there is no physical evidence like an x-ray or MRI. Our word and the doctors we have against theirs. They have the money to hire ones who will agree with them.

Call LOTS of lawyers; what do they say? Sorry, can't help. WalMart is too big, they can afford to fight this, the cost would be too high, won't do the we get paid only if we win; we won't win.

Son will have to apply for SSI, learn to live with it, sorry, hope it gets better.

I don't know if I explained it enough for the severity to be understood and the frustration of not being able to prove it.
