I use to go commando for quite awhile.

You know how hard it is to get streaks out of denim? Wife makes me wear at least a thong now.

I go to the field a lot and slacks tend to get messed up easier.

They should let me wear shorts.

In summer time I wear light cotton cargo pants that have zippered removable legs.

You live slightly over 3½ hours WSW of me. Don't know what the high was for today, but in Chesapeake right now my favorite local news website for weather is reporting 102⁰ for my Zip Code, but at least the humidity's low (29%).

Just a couple of degrees lower to day. A big storm with hail in the middle of the night helped a little. But again hot air from the Sahara desert is blowing on us, with red sands in it.

The wine tonight was a local white " Erbaluce" (grasslight). I saw they merchandise it in the States also. But to a price that is absolutely unjustified. I payed mine 5 tallers for the bottle. Or shells, or glass beads, whatever. 5 things. It accompanied egregiously steamed salmon and shrimps. Plus a mixed salad and greens galore.

The aperitif was modest. A glass of white topped with Campari. Standard Milanese aperitif, called scià e là. Meaning here and there, because after a few you do not even know who you are, imagine where. That's me. She had a small Leffe from the bottle.

By the way. I did not put on weight during the holidays.
