What's a YP P2? Also, don't strain your eyes, dreams!!! I'm going to narrate a lot of these stories by the end of the year anyway (i'm just looking into microphones at the moment) and put them up on my tumblr log Then you'll get to hear my less-than dulcet tones as I mangle everything that sounds so good in my head

It's a Samsung MP3 player. I can watch vids, play music, view pics, it stops playing and connects to my phone if a call comes through (or I make a call), listen to audio books, and something I haven't done yet - read books ( a new member let me now about an app for that )

That audio version is a great idea!

I just downloaded the story. I look forward to reading it. I have to finish the library book I'm reading at the moment because I forgot to renew my library card and if I lose the book there won't be anything I can do until the holiday weekend is over.

I will also start reading, Personal Days by Ed Park, a modern proletarian novel.

I just read I Remember Yves Montes. I like the story. Could we have a pince-nez wearing action hero in Dr. Tapper? Maybe not. Yet, the story does make a strong case for the positive role pain plays in our lives.
The dialogue is natural and and is reflective of the long friendship between Tapper and Robichaux. The wiping out of memories shows that the influences of Orwell and Huxley are here.

Thanks for reading, and I'm immensely pleased that you enjoyed the story. I don't know about action hero, in the other ending I had for the story (and the one that's canon in my imagination) Dr. Tapper dies in an Austrian mental institution. Unless he's undead and....wait that's another story altogether

Actually now I'm coming to think of it, I have to write the story of the mental institution and a woman there....I will call it "The Ninth Month of Midnight" (inspired by a line from a Walt Whitman poem). Damn, fiction really is a rolling ball of snow.
