Hello guys. I was away without Internet (capital I) for two weeks, imagine, you will not believe it. I dreamed of you. I can't believe it myself.
I panicked when my computer went down last night. I can't imagine two weeks off line! I'd be a raving lunatic...wait....

I didn't mention this earlier, but by a strange coincidence I lost my Internet connection last night, right in the middle of doing some MobileRead stuff. I checked all my cables, restarted my computer three times, cut both the modem and router off and on, even did a virus scan, and still had no connection. Then it occurred to me to check the phone (our Internet provider is also provides our phone service). No dial tone. Several hours passed, and I finally gave up and went to bed. When I awoke, the phone was back in service, and after restarting the computer to reset the modem and router, the Internet was back.

I assume that, this being a holiday weekend, some drunk driver probably took out one of the providers' cables. It's happened before.
