Reintroducing myself

Hi folks

It's been almost a year since I was last on Mobileread. After some soul searching I decided to give the community another try. Not much has changed in a year, I still have my Kindle and I still read a lot.

Anyway, hello again everyone.

Hey, Carl! Well, a lot has changed here since you've been gone. For instance, there's a lot more people talking about DRM and copyright, and also, Alexander Turcic is now a cyborg with Higgs-Bosonic cannons for forearms, living it up like a playboy evil genius on an orbital station above the moon Europa (okay, I might have made that last bit up).

For me, I now take one sugar in my coffee (shh, I sneak a second one in when The Loved One isn't looking), and I bought some new tshirts (I'm wearing my Batman-Joker one at the moment).

So, I don't know how long it'll take you to get used to this new world, and how much culture shock you'll go through, but...welcome back.

Don't forget that Alex has now been kidnapped by us Ozzians. And he is resisting my attempts to get him to wear some flannelette pyjamas. I think he will give up the password to the iPad if I work on him a little more.
