			If nothing's using it, just unplug it. I mean, close Calibre, ADE, Kobo app or whatever first. No warranty express or implied, of course, but I do think the problem's pretty simple.

			The new Kobo desktop application features a handy 'eject' button.  just sayin'.

			Why don't you guys just adopt and adapt calibre as your desktop app, put Kovid on the payroll, and have the most kick-ass app around?
