Interesting.. One year later, and the only thing they've changed is the contrast (And the price, but that doesn't count)? I can't believe it.. Especially not with the iPad selling so good. (Yeah yeah, not the same target..) |

Well. I think a 9" reader is kind of pointless, because it does not fit into pocket. If one needs to read books with larger page size and with more graphics, then he should use a tablet pc. E-Ink display is good only for text books, like novels. Amazon should have not invested into that product, because the tablets are taking over now (Android baby - hell yeah!). I still see, that there is a place for current e-readers in the market, but the kindle products that are out now would do fine in that category. The next big thing will be electrowetting tech, but I think that would be the end devices that only meant for reading e-books. |

So What do you think ? Will you buy this Black Kindle DX? For me If you looking for ebook reader with e-ink screen, I think Black Kindle DX is definitely best choice but If you are looking for something more than ebook reader, you will not love this Black Kindle DX.

Catch up in what sense, April? Do Sony have a large-screen reader available for world-wide sale? It's news to me if they do!

I like it. Graphite will also be a cool experience i think. But it is not as "new" and "good" for me to upgrade now. If i would not own a KDX yet i am pretty sure i would order instantly |
