Pocketbook 360 - unresponsive buttons - Help?

I just received my 360 two days ago and am enjoying it tremendously.

I have just realized that my Up and Right buttons do not respond in any orientation.

I have fiddled with Key Mapping as well as Resetting and nothing seems to work.
Firmware is 14.2.

Is it me or could there be an issue with the set?

I ordered it from one of the vendors in Germany who had posted a response in one of the forums here.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Do you mean up and right on the silver ring? I've not heard of anything like that happening. What are they mapped as in the keymapping?

Yup.

Up and Right on the silver ring.

It doesn't make a difference what they are mapped to - I have changed them to map to different actions but they do not respond. In addition, they do not respond to allow me to navigate on the menu screens.

Ie. the only buttons that I can use to navigate on the menu screens (both the small one with bookmarks etc and the larger one with settings etc) are the Down and Left buttons on the silver ring and the two bigger page turning buttons.

Sigh.

No issue that I am aware of. Please detail your key settings.

In other words, holding the unit in portrait fashion, in the main menu screen, the only keys which I can use to navigate round the main menu are bottom and left on the silver ring and the two page turning buttons. Same if I am within a book and bring up the small menu for bookmarks etc.

At the moment, the key mapping for Up is Previous Section and Right is Next Page.

Have you already tried a hardwarereset?

Shut down your PB.
Power it up.
While the PB boots hold the lower wing button and the center button at the same time.
Follow the instructions.
Wait about 15minutes.

Dont forget to backup your files before.
