We just had a VERY light shower with some thunder trying to impress me (hah!). Not enough to water the tomato plants! Not even to bring the temperature down or wash the pollen, or whatever is making me sneeze, off the air. Oh well. I can't complain, we're having summer weather AT LAST! Too bad we missed spring, but it's better than nothing.

Good for you. I walked my 2 miles at lunchtime .. upper 80's and not a breeze or cloud in site....it wasn't nice, but I did it.

weather today...

outer fringes of Tropical Storm Alex, soon to be Hurricane Alex, have been brushing across Louisiana, Mississiippi, and Alabam today.

The counter-clockwise rotation will run crude oil upon to beaches which have been clean until now.

And it is an uncapped gusher, not a spill. I have no idea why the news hounds and politicians are getting that part wrong.

Otherwise, not a bad day. ( Not being sarcastic there.)
