Enjoying some time to myself, eating cereal out of the box, since we're out of milk and remembering a prior discussion on "Wheatabix". You know I think they can make anything better by adding chocolate!

I bought a box of "Frosted Chocolate Mini Wheat Little Bites" ( I guess little bites means they're mini-er than mini?) Darn, if they aren't good! With or without milk! I'll probably have a glass of milk when my husband gets home with it and the girls. Til then I'm enjoying some quiet time and some good reading on MR! I had to put my Sony on the charger. So this is the next best thing!

Not sure, maybe. Why Mount Morris had to have their "Let Freedom Ring" festival the same weekend as Dixon's "Petunia Festival" is still beyond my comprehension!

Mallory wants to have her birthday campout-in-the-backyard party next weekend and we keep trying to tell her how busy it will be as it's a holiday weekend especially for families. Sheesh! Another year older and 3 years-worth more stubbornly independent she's become! All I can say for sure is that there's going to be a family meeting in the next couple days, after her BFF goes home. So if you look in the sky in our direction, you might see some unplanned fireworks at our place!

Had to try and wake the Terd Up....

I'm an early to bed early to rise guy...I typically get up around 4 am but am in bed by 9 PM.....started doing the early rise thing when my kids were toddlers because that was the only time I could find a couple of uninterrupted hours to do my writing....have continued to do it for a couple of decades now and though not always successful, try to do my creative stuff then.....

So true! It's like there's actually a screen between you and the world. Or even a mask. One reason I don't feel comfortable wearing sunglasses, especially when I'm talking to someone, is that I feel like I'm hiding behind a mask. Weirdly, it doesn't really bother me when others are wearing them. Go figure.
