On topic: It's a dark, rumbly, wet sort of morning. With one BOOM that knocked the ever-living daylights out of me! The perfect day for reading... minus the BOOM! Yesterday it was hot, sunny, slight breeze. The perfect day for swimming. Lately it seems we get one day, then another, back & forth. I sort of wish the yesterdays were more frequent than the todays.

It pissed down rain last night. Today it is hot and muggy. I have a 92 year old home that has the original airconditioner: Water coil with air blown over it and delivered to the rest of the house by a vent and fan contraption. The water coil gets its water flow from the sprinklers on the lawn. Soooo, in order to have a house that is inhabitable when I get home tonight, I have to be watering the lawn, right on top of the puddles left over from last night. Yeah, I'm one of those neighbors...

Well, if it were a perfectly every other day scenario, I could actually make plans. But as it is, you may get lucky and have a few yesterdays in a row or not-so-lucky and a few of todays. Same here, poohbear_nc. It hit 100 yesterday in Chesapeake, and today and tomorrow it's suppose to be even hotter. This morning at sunrise it felt pretty good, but as soon as Sol started rising, so did the temps. It's miserable out there now.

Sea breeze is keeping it tolerable, temperature wise.
Although it smells like salt water and slow baked oily fat people.

Tom, stop saying global warming. If you're too hot, the dimmer switch is next to the off button. Just stare at the sun. You'll see it. Sooner or later.
