Really unbelievably poor performance. Worst player on the pitch is Wayne Rooney I'm afraid to say, and Steven Gerard hasn't been much better.

Algeria deserved a goal. They were a better team, they played a good, fair game (unlike some of the fouling gets on England's side) and yet again Cappello puts Crouch on 7 minutes from the end instead of from the beginning....England are officially an absolute shower!

True, but these people are the cream of the cream, top athletes. An athlete performs daily. No holiday. Not school kids anymore...

I'm not sure that's a valid excuse. These are men who are paid to do nothing but keep fit and play football. If they can't motivate themselves to play for their country in the World Cup then they should get on the next flight home.

Extremely disappointing. Algeria was the better team, but I was impressed by neither.
The english players looked stressed and disoriented.
I should have watched the two previous games of the day, they had a lot of excitement.

I've injured myself playing football. This is why I have the time to watch all the games. But I also record them on an HDD. I like going back to them.

Doe anyone feel that the Jabulani has a big impact on this cup?
This ball seems prone to overflight. It never dips back down.
