They didnt do a typical ghost image. They put both hard drives on the same computer and used the ghost software's disk to disk option.

I wasnt there to witness the spectacle, but I did confirm that both drives were identical at COB.

Then I went to the dentist for my checkup (last checkup, 1983). Apparently my teeth are mostly fine...good even. Just a thorough clean and a small filling needed (so I can no longer say I'm the only one in the family that has never had fillings). That was nice and unexpected though. Not looking forward to the actual dental work though (next Friday first, just for the clean and xrays).

Just completely unplugged my old computer (desktop/tower) and moved the new one in it's place. Probably 95% transferred to the new one....and I'm sure there are bits and bobs I've forgotten, but....ON WITH THE SHOW!

Dual 24" monitors i7 930 @ 2.8 GHz 6 GB memory dual 750GB hard drives .....

Killer machine and Wicked Fast!

Actually I've avoided dual monitors --- even at work, but I've always wished I had them when working on Photoshop, photography, or digital artwork

My brain exploded back in the 60's so no need to worry about that.

You'd be surprised how addictive it is. People keep telling me I should have a day or two off, but I just can't. Will have to sometime, though, otherwise I'm going to end up with thoroughly knackered legs.
