eggshell I can do! it's kind of hard to police up after radish leaves!

I have frogs at the pond, but they don't seem to be interested in hanging out in the garden. I also keep forgetting to pick up ladybugs and worms just for general garden health

we actually get lady bug infestations here occasionally. I want some specifically for the garden though. I've never lived anywhere that had naturally ocurring mantis'. unless it was during one of my military trainings, and there were other creepy and crawlies that I was much more concerned about looking for and AVOIDING!!!

In New Hampshire, I actually saw praying mantis eggs hatching. That was a sight! Literally hundreds of the pale green little bastards everywhere!

I am finding out I'm not as young as I used to be. Jay (my son) and I went to Franklin Grove today to watch the Ace of Cakes show being filmed - they were in town for Franklin Grove's 175th Anniversary celebration. I'm tired, sunburnt, and ready for bed, but Jay got his picture taken with Duff, Elena, and Geoff, so it was well worth it.
