There are always alternatives. Folks could come on over to The Friday Challenge, where we are each busily trying to figure out what sort of western to pitch Steven Spielberg, if he is ever unfortunate enough to share elevator space with one of us. Or you could browse the rest of the blog and read some truly interesting - and in some cases, even good! - stories. Or you could get busy and write a story.

Personally, I'd like to be writing a story on a shiny new iPad.

HOSTAGE CRISIS!!



The ongoing iPad hostage crisis situation continues today, with no sign of either Alex (the alleged kidnapper AND a "person of interest" in the inquiry) or the missing iPad. Rumors are piling up alleging misconduct and misuse of MR members' time and attention span. Alex is presumed armed (with the missing iPad) and dangerous (liable to post uncontrollably if cornered) - so DO NOT APPROACH for any reason!

If either Alex or the iPad are sighted, call 1-IVE-GOT-FOWL and a highly trained chicken will terminate this hideous suspense and take the iPad into protective long-term custody.

I still love the idea of owning an Ipad but this thread makes me feel guilty, because I come here constantly hoping that none of you have heard about winning, greedy I know, but oh boy I WANT thisprize so darn much,

I wont win, it's too much of a dream, and dreams don't come true, but just once , oh well I guess not,
