lol! you're having fun today huh? I'm about to go put a turkey breast in the oven for dinner. I am sad for Arwen too. she doesn't even get to go boating this weekend, she will be left home by the breeder. she is getting too adventuresome and going up on the deck of the boat.

There is so much real surfing around here I can't think about any other kind. Even though I am not getting in the water unless it is hot and in my bathtub.

I was getting ready to go to the store and the library when the news announced a severe storm warning.
So I go out, and it's cloudy and windy and dark.
For 2 minutes.
Next thing I know, it's pouring sunshine!
They don't have to accept Reality, I don't have to either.
So there!

There were a lot of people unhappy about this and Google have taken it down earlier than they expected to. Their initial intent was that it was to be left up for 24 hours. It explains more about it here. For those that like the background images, they can still become a Google member to have them show up (as is still an option at the bottom left of page).

As for me - took son to Lowell Park today with a picnic. Then we went to feed the ducks at the high school parking lot (that's not as odd as it sounds, the high school here is located at the edge of the river and the ducks have learned that kids plus boredom equals feed the ducks). When we got there we found all the ducks in one big group with a girl sitting in the middle of them all doling out bread. What came immediately to my mind was, "The Duck Whisperer" ...

Oh, and I made the Dean's List for spring semester
