I agree with pooh's initial reaction. I got tired with the series with book #5. I like Simon Green's "Nightside" series much better. It's funny, weird and highly imaginative!

Yeah - Nightside series is fun! And quirky!
Have you tried the Cal Leandros series? (by Rob Thurman) darker series

I think I read the first one. I liked it and want to reread it. If I could figure out where it is. I like dark fantasy ( insert pooh joke here ) Raymond Feist's "Faerie Tale" is one of my favorites. Charles de Lint's "Mulengro" is also very good.

Currently reading one of my favorite military sci-fi books of all time, "The Compleat Bolo" by Keith Laumer. Finally bought it as an ebook last week.

And it did. I enjoyed it a lot. I see that's it's now only $7.99 in the Kindle store - although not available in ebook form in the UK at all at the moment.

I wasn't too impressed by the Jan/Feb issue. I hope I like this one better, as I still have two years of subscription (12 issues) coming after this one!

I'm currently reading 61 Hours by Lee Child and enjoying it very much.

Afterwards I may read some Carl Hiassen or, if I'm feeling a bit more literary, some Martin Amis.

Reading three books right now: an Agatha Christie book in hardcover (still), a Robyn Dehart book on my Sony, and Broke USA on my iPhone. I heard about Broke USA on NPR and it sounded very interesting, the author was discussing payday lenders, check cashers and the subprime market and so far it's a very cool read.

I just finished Ender in Exile as well and I really enjoyed it as well. I had not read anything in the series for a while so it was fun to rediscover and remember the connections.

I'm currently reading Dune, and then I'll probably jump back to the ender's saga and read Shadow of Giants.

This was the first book I ever read by her. It won't be the last.

I started The Lacuna by Barbara Kingsolver

I absolutely LOVE the Rizzoli & Isles series by Tess Gerritsen! I promise it only gets better. Two points of (possible) interest for you: The next book in the series, Ice Cold, is out 6/29, and TNT has developed a TV series based on the novel. It's premiering sometime in July, so if you're interested in either, be on the lookout!

I'm currently reading The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks. Definitely an interesting read, with a nice combination of science/medicine technical information balanced with the human story of Lacks' life and the continuing story of her family.

Thank you. Helped me too decide I'm not going to read it. Thought it might be interesting as it appears sort of famous in USA, but your comment made me think of those 'important' Danish novels I've already read. I think I may have done my duty on the literary front already

Bought "Men who hates women" recently, as an e-book - in Danish even - so I will probably read it soon. Right now I'm on the middle of "The death of Dalziel" (think the American title is "Price of butcher's meat") by Reginald Hill. It's been years since I've read crime fiction, but I really like his style, especially the later novels.

Be very interested in what you think of the ending. I read it a couple of weeks ago and am aching to discuss the ending
