Finally, after much vacillation I think my decision is firm to raise the price of my 2 ebooks to $2.99 July 1 to take advantage of Amazon's 70% royalty. Whether or not that will take them out of the running for mention in a section for Deals and Freebies I'm not sure. They are priced at $1.99 each now. It does seem fair to try to mention that the price will be going up at the end of the month in the places where I've promoted them in the past.

Ellen - I am loving Rottweiler Rescue - please write more! I will pay $2.99.
![]() I am here to say that I now have two - count them - TWO ratings on my romance novella Healing Touch on Kobo!! Whoo Hooo. I've been stalking that page for a while. They seem to be both four star ratings although I can't see the detail and don't care to do all the various math combination possibilities. Yes, there are only two ratings and the math would be easy now.... much easer than say, 296 ratings like Ruth Ann Nordin has on one of her books. I hate math, couldn't ever do it, never will be able to do it. The only thing I'm worse at is spelling. Don't get me started. Flashbacks, nightmares of nuns yelling at me, long lists on the blackboard,,, What was I stopping by for....?? Oh yeah, ebook on Kobo $0.79: http://www.kobobooks.com/ebook/Heali...lAQ/page1.html Jenna |

Alan, a song's been bugging me all day, and I just worked out why.
Happy birthday Alan ![]() (not only does it sound like they're saying, "Happy birthday Alan", BUT the clip was filmed all over an Australian city, and Boomerang's partly set in Australia, you see... ![]() |

Hmmm. Oz has a fan base? How very nice. I find it impossible to not have dogs in my writing. A dachshund named The General features prominently in the book I am working on now. I will certainly see what other mischief I can get Oz into. Doreen and Amelia are two more favorites that quite a few readers seem to want more of. Perhaps they can team with Oz once again! Thanks! Reincarnation fiction - Dead Forever: Apotheosis
Book 2 of the Dead Forever series is now available on Smashwords. Amazon Kindle goes live by week's end.
DEAD FOREVER: APOTHEOSIS by William Campbell A god? No thanks, too much responsibility. Sequel to Awakening, the adventure continues as our hero travels to the Restricted Zone, aided by a mysterious provider of instructions. But mistakes mount and the mission falls apart. Plunged into an alien world at war, the hero is caught between battling natives who either worship him as a god, or another heretic scheduled to burn alive. The hero struggles to bring peace among chaos but his nemesis has arrived, and he likes playing god, poised to launch unthinkable wrath that fulfills a world-ending prophecy. The natives are confident their savior will prevail. Trouble brews back home--the rebels are under siege, two planets ruined, and the body supply is depleted. More of all the hero is expected to fix, while he only longs to be a child again, the one dream denied him for lifetimes. He hatches a daring plot to outsmart the enemy but in doing so risks his own life--in the last body to enjoy as a free soul. A single choice could spell his end, for real this time. Dead forever. “Only the gods be so great as to wield the power of destruction yet escape its fate. The mortal be bound by destiny he cannot escape, however heroic.” Apotheosis now available: http://www.smashwords.com/books/view/16376 Begin the tale with Awakening: http://www.smashwords.com/books/view/8981 Please note: I have recently discovered formatting issues with certain formats distributed by Smashwords. Please understand that Smashwords takes in a single document and uses their own systems to create multiple ebook formats, which can introduce formatting glitches that are outside the author's control. For any reader who has a formatting problem with this title or the earlier, Awakening, I urge you to contact me (the author) directly, william@deadforever.com, and I will supply you with a hand-coded file in your preferred ebook format, properly formatted. I only need to know. Write to me any time. |

Amazon has discounted another of my eBooks. Last week, they dropped the price of The Scrubs to 99cents. This time, they’ve cut the price of Dragged into Darkness to $1.59.
Description: [[ASIN:B002HWSLFU Dragged into Darkness]] is collection of Twilight Zone-esque stories. The world is a dark place, even in daylight. The book features tales from the subtle to the extreme. The characters are ordinary people ripped from their daily routines thrust into a dark world and their lives will never be the same. In The Eye of the Beholder, Dr. Gareth Troy empathizes with his tortured patients' disfigurements a little too much. For Grace in Purely Cosmetic, reaching her target weight is all that matters. In Acceptable Losses, Captain John Clelland has struck the worst of bargains for the lives of allied soldiers. In Runway Three-Seven, a pilot is forced to land his crippled aircraft on a runway that can't possibly exist. Acceptable Losses from the book was adapted into an audio book and can be downloaded for free at http://pseudopod.org/2010/04/22/next-episode-eta/ I hope people will check the book out. |
