Just heard on the local news:

A Long Island fishing boat dragged up a deadly catch, two WW1 shells. Filled with mustard sulfide...mustard gas. One of which began leaking on board. 3 hospitalized, boat is in quarantine.

Actually I think the serpent was just in a lot of trouble for trying to impart knowledge upon people that the LORD wanted to remain ignorant.

Maybe my interpretation of Genesis is different to what y'all lernd in Bible School! Next you will be telling me that Jezabel was a bad (read sexual) and therefore also "evil" woman!

I was taught that the Serpent imparted knowledge to the "innocent", not the "ignorant". Catholic school and the Baptists. I haven't kept up with any of it since I left the Church in the '70's.
