While I make more than 10 calls a month, I don't make very many. Still, I couldn't imagine not having my iphone on my person at all times - it is about so much more than just making calls.

But yes, I can see one may feel paying for a phone and data plan is not worth it if you don't really need the phone part of an iphone.

i thought the iphone was available on pay-as-you-go plans in some areas? if you really want an iphone you might see if your carriers support those plans instead.

getting a £15 a month pay as you go through o2(200 min unlim text and unlim data) and buying the iPhone for £200(2nd hand) made much more sense than buying a new touch and having a seperate phone on the £15 deal.
