Always wanted to say that. Anyhoo, to paraphrase call-ins on shows: I'm a first time poster, long time lurker. I have a Sony Reader Touch Edition. Which is great as long as you ignore the 800 lb gorilla that it comes with (the software). In conclusion I look forward to corrupt- er... getting to know all of you. Heh heh heh. You may now return to forum reading, whilst I try to disprove Murphy's Law. Alas the only thing I have found to date is that Murphy was an optimist. SIGH... |

Hey, MG - welcome! I tried the Murphy-inspired 'strapping a piece of buttered toast to a cat's back and dropping it' experiment once, and discovered that the cat does NOT hover in place, turning rapidly. Instead, it shreds your face and then clings to your head with its claws firmly implanted in your ears. Eventually, the toast falls off and lands butter-side-down. |

Sorry for taking so long to write back, apparently some #*@&@#(*#^!!! punk damaged the flux capacitor in my Delorean and it had to be completely rebuilt. And apparently I'm so mad that I didn't realize that I misspelled Genius until I tried logging back in. OOPS! And for the record I did attempt the kitty experiment a few years back. And the terms of my permanent probation involve me giving her free recreational drugs for life (i.e. cat nip). The good, expensive stuff too. I tried the cheap stuff once, and was forced to kiss my sofa goodbye. |
