Sending happy thoughts!

I have a 70-something uncle who has had a variety of treatments including surgery and radiation for a brain tumor (unfortunately his is malignant) and except for the bald head you would not know that anything is different. He was recently interviewed by the hometown newspaper on his WWII memories and was perfectly lucid. (Yes, he's obviously too young to have served but he lived next to a POW area and befriended several prisioners as a young boy.) The brain is amazing in its capacity to regenerate.

Back home now. Is ok not too many pain. I have problems with thinking. Many words not make sense. I can not read much as I loose the meaning of what I read. And I read very slow.

I thank you all very much for the nice thoughts and well wishing. Please excuse that I will not be writing much until better. It takes long time for me to read and long time to write answer.

I am sure I will go better in time - hope not long time.

Very sorry about this - I know there are mistakes but I is not sure about this at this time. And spelling checking not helping with finding the right word.
