Yuck. I hate it when that happens.

I am still blessedly upstairs-neighbor-less at the moment. Of course, now that their apartment is empty I can hear their upstairs neighbors, but it's not as bad.

spent the last 4 hours working on the sprinkler system. Dug out several sprinkler heads in anticipation of having to replace them. Went to the hardware store and spent $80 on several new sprinkler heads, adapters, connectors, etc. including a new American Flag to replace the ragged one. ended up capping one of the sprinklers to be replaced and then it was just a matter of fixing/cleaning/adjusting the impulse sprinklers in that zone. Other zones, fixed one broken line cleaned, oiled (wd40 is your friend) and adjusted. I'm running through a full cycle now to test...

Have not cleaned the flower beds, weeds, grass, a mess....I did buy a new hoe at the hardware store though.

my folks had those sprinklers and Dad was forever having to dig up the heads and fix them. regular old sprinklers are SO much easier (and less expense!) than all of that frustration!

Yeah, You're right. I have a couple of those as well. They do work well.

Used one most of last summer in the back where these sprinklers I fixed today are.
