swamp cooler = evaporative cooler = works well in this climate, but not in Tom's climate (next to the swamp and who's new avatar will be #1) due to the low humidity here.

I have no idea what the temp is here, but Norton and just came in from swimming, and it was 88⁰F (31⁰C) in the pool, so it had to be somewhere in the 90s.

It's about 90 F here...72 inside with the swamp cooler running.

Still hot & humid - waited until 7 pm for walk - it was still 88 F with 80% humidity levels.

It's 9:17 AM and I'm in the dark. There is no light coming from the Western windows, and on the East side only a trickle. It's raining (heavily now) but no thunder yet. I have unplugged the MacBook from the wall socket just in case
