My uncle lost about 80 pounds on a whiskey diet. I don't think he actually eats food though...just drinks all day.

A party for sure. Goal. Yes the goal has been reached. It was a methodological goal, not a metrological one, although I can wear clothes of 3 years ago. I learned that I can eat mostly vegs with pleasure and without much trouble, and I feel much better. I will continue in the same way. I am eating much more fish also. No, this is a recipe that I do since 20 years, at least once a year. I might cook it or not this year. It's a lot of work.

The last week I eated easier things, already cooked and commercial. To night I had only home made stuff, and it was tasteless. Big lesson, they use a lot of salt. So, back on track, although canned veg soup is good and much easier to cook. I will go back to simpler things, like beans, although I really do not like those sensations that one needs a toilet in a hurry. A woman in the office told me to pass them through a strainer to withhold the skin. Eh,, That is why I want to be rich a pay a cook. And a chauffeur.

Over all I have the impression of having lost maybe 20 pounds.
I kept drinking like before. A glass for lunch. A couple of Campary before dinner, A couple of glasses for dinner and maybe a shot like now. I am lucky that I do not care for sweet things.

Eh. If he is loosing that kind of weight, I am afraid that he will loose too much. We all do at a certain moment of course, but hopefully as late as possible.

I just had a doggie bar for 17.5 grams of protein. And my bluddy fat intake is over the daily limit and I haven't had lunch yet! But I have lost half a kilo this week already yay!

watch out for them protein bars. You can generally get more protein and less calories by eating a simple and small lean piece of meat.

It sounds like it was a worthwhile sacrifice though! Not sure I'd have the willpower.
