Red face

It would appear that archive.nytimes.com (the place where the avantgo pages are kept) is down. Anyone know if this is a permanent adjustment to the NYTimes mobile channel system, or is this just a downed server? should i stop being worried?
anyway, whoever was clever enough to figure out the URLs for the avantgo pages in the first place (Alexander, i'd guess) should probably keep on the lookout for the new location (if any) for the rest of us.
i can't last very long without my NYTimes books section fix. hehe.

OK, nevermind. It's back up. forgive my skittishness. eep!

I don' t know if it's down or what, but iSiloX was downloading *something*. it was just taking forever the last couple times i tried, so i cancelled the conversion. i think they're probably just making changes to the wireless content server or something. it'll be back, i'm sure of it!

okay, scratch that. NYT is gone.
ugh.

Washington Post

Those of you wanting to get the NYTimes might try the Washington Post, which uses the same news service. Alexander's wcc address works fine.

BTW, while I applaud the efforts of those who are using cookies to download the NYT, I find myself unwilling to try. Such complicated steps are out of sync (no pun intended) with my sense of a Palm - simple to use, and quick of access.
