My sister was more patient than either of us, and she assures me that you get used to it after a while, and it becomes very useful. The apparently random way it selects words is actually based on how you are likely to mistype because the keys are so close together. Well, on the iPhone or iPad anyway. I guess that doesn't apply to you

I was debating turning it off on the iphone, but then it correctly worked out I was trying to type thylacine, so it stayed on.

Ok... 2 and 3 done. I guess that's not bad. And the days not over. Also played 4 rounds of Pandemic On the Brink with my sons. Good day so far. I'm hoping we can get the whole family to play a round of something a bit later... perhaps Puerto Rico or my new game (still water damaged) Power Grid.

Good start to a long long weekend.

That's because you didn't set down the braking rod deep enough. If you set it down correctly you can take your hands off the handlebars and watch it go by itself. I used to do a garden every year.

It isn't that bad. The problem stems from toggling from French to English all the time...

BTW: Remember when I was asking about furniture repair. While we had the guy weld the chair since that wasn't something we could do... we didn't have him fix the couch. Since it has a wood frame.... my wife decided to fix it herself. (Of course, I helped a bit).

There was a part of the frame that had cracked which was causing the sagging. We pulled the part out... she went and got some lumber to replace it. We cut it to size... drilled out the holes for the dowels. It took a bit of frustration but finally my wife got the new piece back in with proper wood glue and a new L bracket screwed in.

So, $150 saved on that job. Of course, repairing the leather upholstery is another issue. My wife things if we can get the cover off the cushion she can sew in a new vinyl piece on the side. (You know "leather" couches aren't all leather didn't you?).
