I have borrowed this from Avogadro. 6.022 141 79(30) × 10^23....He would kindly like it returned when the countdown has ended.

The probability of this is known only by Bernoulli.

Why would a pasta maker know anything about this?

That sounds like conjecture.

Numbers. Spaghetti. Same thing. Except spaghetti tastes better with tomato sauce.

Ah the nostalgia of the smell of new cars ... When new cars smelled this new smell of plastic. And we had the means of buying new cars. The Anglia's. Do you remember ? 3 gears. The Fiat 600. 4 gears but useless. Then came progress and all that is gone ...
Bye Bye.

I need comfort. Southern, on the rocks. The bill to that guy lazing out down there. Thank you dear. He will take care of your tip.

For sure.

My mother had a red Fiat 500 when I was little. I don't remember it much, but she does, very fondly Of course, that was before there were four of us children (plus the dog).

26.

I think 26 deserves a lot of sympathy. Just think about this poor number. It is doubly unlucky (twice 13, to be precise). Imagine that. And as if to back this up think about its neighbours. It's standing there, minding its own business and hoping for consideration and what does it have to put up with? On one side is that really cute cube, 27, that has people like Florence going all gooey and weak-knee-ed at. On the other side it has the really sexy, macho 25 attracting all the rest of the attention. Come to think about it, it is amazing that that 26 doesn't have some sort of inferiority complex.

So spare a thought for poor old 26.

My wife (ex) got exactly that one as a marriage gift. We went in honeymoon with it. From Milano to Nimes and back with stops in Avignon, Arles, Le Baux and, best of all chez le Moulin de Daudet. In the hotel there, there were 3 dalmatians. Memories of long gone days.

Dont't read this if you adnmire dalmatians
Spoiler:
Those dalmatians were not only beautiful but exceedingly dumb. They were able to descend the stairs, but when they arrived at the intermediate landings, they stopped, confused and asked for help. True, criss cross on my heart.

I tend to agree with your feeling for 26, that to me appears not poor but great.
25 is not feminine, to me, it makes me think of Alexander the Great.

Dalmations are known to be dim, even for dogs. And smart for a dog is dim for a rutabaga.
