Torchwood is my "guilty pleasure"

I'm often disappointed with Dr. Who episodes when they end with deux ex machina resolutions that seem to happen way too often.

The current Doctor Who series is getting better and better - the last episode, this last Saturday, was a gem ....

You mean the starry, starry one? (Avoiding spoilers.) Yeah, that was one of the best episodes of the new series, IMHO. (Meaning the 5 seasons of the "reboot", not "series" as meaning "season", like you bloody foriegners have mangled the term.

They showed the Christmas special "Voyage of the Damned" a week ago! Yay! I thought it was kind of hokey though. Since when does the Doctor have to explain himself? "I am the Doctor. I am a timelord from the planet Gallifrey. I am 903 years old!" So I'm assuming these Christmas specials are to draw in those unfamiliar with the show. Does he have to go around kissing every woman he meets these days? This past Saturday night was a PBS auction, so no Doctor Who. But they did show previews from episodes in the next series! That seems promising!

Bloody foreigners?
We say "season". You say "series". We say "tom(ay)to", you say "tom(ah)to". We butter our toast when it's warm, so the butter gets all melty. You let your toast get cold and then butter it so it doesn't melt.
Bloody and mangled are pretty harsh terms, don't you think?

Thanks for thr links h_t! My daughter and I were up way past our bedtime watching YouTube Doctor Who videos last night. Found some hilarious ones! My favorite is the "Doctor Who Strange Noises With My Mouth- deleted scene"

We just saw "Partners in Crime" and totally enjoyed it! It's good to see something new! Those little fatty babies were adorable! I kept expecting them to grow up REALLY fast into something horrible.
