my poor, poor cat. she has such a hard life. it's hard work spending all day making sure the blanket doesn't float away from the bed, and she only takes a break two or three times a day to keep her strength up with a solid meal.

Trying to design a web site for a friend, supposedly. But how can I concentrate, now that my neighbors have stopped making moving noises? And it's sunny outside, the swifts are flying, my tomato plants are growing, and someone is playing Reggae music.

ah, i bet you're relieved as well that you've got them keeping an eye on your blankets, round the clock ! i mean honestly, where would we be if our blankets suddenly floated out the window ??? i ask you. that's why i keep them around, personally.

never gain weight ? well, they're both pretty rotund at the moment, the big black one more than the little one, but that seems pretty stable, so i'm not sure how to answer your question.

and yes, although it's not knitted, that is a little toy behind the second kitty. i suppose in this case it's a sleep buddy, but i'm pretty sure that was purely accidental.

the obvious answer to that, florence, is "you can't." i would give it up and go outside ! or at least take the computer out on the balcony !

actually you'd be wrong about that. in fact what it says is, "i'd really like a cuddle, but it's just taking up all my energy to hold this blanket down, so if you could just come over here and do all the work, that would be great. i promise to purr. thanks."
