For me, a Jetbook and a Jetbook lite. My wife has a Jetbook. Recently bought 2 Jetbook's for our parents.

I would have voted if my reader was on the list. I know Sony is listed, but the different models are different enough. The 900 is different enough to my 505 that lumping them together is not a good idea.

Kindle 1 for now.

Not sure if I'll keep it once I get some kind of Tablet device.

I do suggest your K1. The K1 is better at being portable then any tablet.

But my K1 hardly ever leaves the house, so that's kind of moot. And even if it does it's in my brief case, not much difference other than a pound or two of weight between it and a thin/light iPad-like tablet.

And when I go out of town, I'd take a Tablet over it since I needed internet and e-mail access etc.--or just my laptop if it was a business trip and I needed to do real work.

I'm not an avid reader, so portability isn't a big concern of mine since I'm not one of those folk who have to have something to read everywhere I go.

Back then I've been surprised about the small number of Kindle devices.
(Of course a user forum never can be considered a valid average. Probably Kindle owners participate more in Kindle-specific forums).

I have a Sony PRS 600.

What I find interesting about this poll is how few have Kindle. I would have figured it ranked right up there with the Sony or be at the top of the pile!

Curious as to why you returned the Kindle?
I have a Kindle 2 and was given a gift of a Nook. I tried the Nook for a couple of weeks, and I am sticking with the Kindle for various reasons.

I used to have a Sony PRS-500 but the poor contrast made it uncomfortable to use. I tried out a Nook yesterday and thought the contrast was nice but the interface was kludgy.

I currently use my iPhone as an ereader and will most likely get an iPad when the local Apple store has them in stock.

Me too, I thought that there would be far more Kindle users than Sony users actually.

I have a Sony 505 and a Kindle 2. I love them both and they pretty much get equal use.

I don't know whether others did likewise, but I own a Kindle and didn't click that as my choice. That's because I've switched to using my iPad nearly all the time.
