couldn't agree more. and how much money / intellectual stimulation can one person really use anyway ?

So I just fixed my pool's chlorine generator. I found some people online that had the same problem and rather than spending $300 to replace the whole circuit board you only had to solder in a new component that cost $2.50 on line.

Finally got it done... my solder gun didn't want to get hot enough. But, dd it, put the board back in the control unit, and turned it on... YEA! Green power light and Generating lights!!! Woot!!!

That's the good news... the bad news is, after a week with no chlorine the pool is pretty green. So, a lot of sweeping and filter back washing in line for the weekend and beyond.

But... it was worth it to save the $300.

Taking a break from filling out effn insurance claim form. Big car bumped into me - darn him. All his fault - so why do I have to fill out a form of which I understand only half the questions???

*Sigh* MOTH just told me that being honest on an insurance form leads to paying for the damage yourself. Of course it's the page with the most info and a stupid drawing. Better get that done before he throttles me.
