Sorry to disappoint - but if you wait for mine to be handed down you'll be without reader for a loooooooooooooooooooong time.

IMO text is text, for straight reading of novels the current e-readers are fine.

So if all you plan on doing is reading novels, grab a Kindle, Sony, Nook or the various other devices out their and get reading! There won't be any big improvements in e-ink dedicated readers between now and there.

And there's already been some great deals, saw the Sony pocket reader was $120 or $130 on Slickdeals the other day (think it was from Newegg.com). That deal is over, but point is you can find great deals now.

I hope you and the family are coming soon. The yard needs cleaning up and the bathroom & kitchen need a repaint.

My parents were rich enough to feed all 20 of us. Not sure how much will be left for us should they pass on though.

That’s great! Now our 12 children and 15 adopted children (prison is not a good place for children) will have someone to play with. I’m sure that they will love it there. And they do need to learn a profession (other than armed robbery that is).

Food and extra money isn't a problem. They always seem to find some "lost money" somewhere.

Oh that's great - I just love big families. And the 20 are not my kids - it's my brothers and sisters - so there are heaps of nieces and nephews to play with too.

Might looking into renting the Hilton or such to accommodate the growing family. Food no problems - we are uniquely equipped to take care of that. Extra money will be welcome as we seem to go through clothes rather fast though.

Have you packed yet? Don't bring too much, we can fit you out with new gear here. Australia is very welcoming to new arrivals as long as you come via boat.
