I hope the pjs will be enough - but might throw in the doona - just in case. Our house just gets tooooo cold. And MOTH hates me snuggling up in winter as my body takes on the outside temperature

uuuuh - well it does feel close to death when the feet turn into ice cubes (large ones)

What do you call doona in your neck of the wood?

We have comforters too, but they tend to be the type that don't need a cover. i.e. they have pretty patterns on. A doona usually needs a cover that you can take off and wash.

Generally being room temperature around here would not make you dead. You put your chocolate in the fridge to stop it melting most of the time.

Autumn is the time to turn off/down the cooling systems and fans. We rarely need heating, which is why we have doonas on the cooler nights. Doesn't mean we will shut the windows or anything.

Even in the darkest depths of Winter. We never have anything that freezes around here. (except in the freezer)

One person I was at work with had a frost in the winter of 2007 (his first in 19 years!). But that was a strange year. I never saw any frost around here. Go a few miles inland and they get them. But who would want to live where you get frost?

Soo agree with you - that's why I happily moved to Australia thinking I'd be safe in the subtropical climate of Brisbane. Ha, got that wrong didn't I.

Before the move I introduce MOTH to winter - we got married in January in Germany in one of the worst winters (coldest) we had for 50 years. Was hard to pry him of the central heater to go to the registrars office
