Amazon Kindle Questionnaire

Hi all,

I'm currently completing my last year at university and am doing my dissertation on the possibilty of blind consumers using the Amazon Kindle. I'm conducting a questionnaire, as there is no research relating to the subject.

If any of you can spare a couple of minutes answering the questionnaire, I would be extremely grateful!

The questionnaire can be found at:

http://www.esurveyspro.com/Survey.as...4-7b62f1ff09e5

Thank you in advance!

A survey that asks if one has an e-reader, but has sections of questions specifically about the Kindle - it does not allow a non-kindle owner to complete it.

Mods - this should be in the Kindle section ....

Three of the thirteen questions are about the Kindle, three are about audio features and the rest are general marketing questions.

Could the OP please provide some way of checking their status as a student - university affiliation, supervising professor for example - because this survey does not look like it is designed to elicit information about blind users using Kindles or other readers.

Firstly, I'm only a BA student - it's normal that my questionnaire isn't perfect. Plus, my dissertation is due on Tuesday so I didn't have that much time to spend on formulating the questions. I just need the responses.

Secondly, I'm a marketing and advertising management student. Unfortunately the past three years studying a marketing and advertising degree has had an impact on my general thinking, which is probably the main reason why most of the questions are marketing related.

Thirdly, being a student, how am I supposed to gain access to a database of blind or partially sighted people? And would I really have the resources to make a questionnaire that they can access or read?

The purpose of the questionnaire was really to gain insight into whether there is a place for the Amazon Kindle in blind or partially sighted people's lives. That is all.

Hi Volcom - glad you posted your survey here. Are you only interested in the Kindle? Or in answers from other reader owners as well?

Hi Katti's Cat, thanks for pointing me here in the first place - I've received dozens of responses, so thank you again.

I know the questionnaire seems very Kindle oriented, but I am interested in answers from other reader owners, too. Any responses are welcome

if you don't have a Kindle, it would be interesting to learn how you managed to complete it . I couldn't because at least one question required a specific kindle answer with no other option available ....

If you mean question 5 - i just ticked my perception of it. That questions is worded a bit odd anyway.

And volcom did say he welcomes answers from users with other readers. I'm just a sucker for surveys

I'd have to agree with you that the questionnaire was done in haste... Unfortunately I had no other option. I guess everyone can learn from their mistakes.

But thank you for your input, anyway.

Yup, it's the same questionnaire. I wasn't sure where to put it at first, and Katty's Cat pointed me over here

OK, he posted this on Sunday and his dissertation is due on Tuesday - two days later. I think he has more problems than a poorly worded survey.
