Eylem Atmaca of the Turkish group Ezginin Günlüğü singing 1980 from their 2003 album İlk Aşk (First Love). The group has been around since 1982 although only one original member is still in the group. Well, the words are interesting also, though a bit cliché. Not sure I could relay them, they are about youth in the province (outside of Paris) in the 80's. But mostly she has a wonderful voice and great rockabilly tunes

One of the reasons I never listen to music is that I can't do that and read. Right now I'm supposed to be reading The Road, but well...

I discovered Sainkho Namtchylak mostly by accident, when I was looking for music for a slide show of my Mongolian vacation I have two albums by her, and my favorite is Time Out, but unfortunately it doesn't seem very popular, I couldn't find any YouTube clip of it.
